OH!- only a few more days for ‘Saving Tuma’ on #KU.

I was going to write this post today all about how I have the ability to waste time like no one else. I need to be focusing. I need to be writing. Saturdays and Sundays are my BOOK days.

Except then there’s Facebook. And Twitter. And reading articles about nothing. Oh- and took a quiz to tell me about my personality based upon the shape of my fingers. The quiz told me I am strong to the world, but very sad underneath. I am? So that got me thinking…Why am I sad? Could be many things. Is it family stuff? Is it because I don’t have any chocolate in the house (when I really, really want some chocolate)? Is it… For crying out loud. It was a dumb Facebook quick. Get it together.

Then I remembered that ‘Saving Tuma’ only has THREE MORE DAYS of being FREE on Kindle Unlimited. That seemed like a better thing to post about. More meaningful, ya know? Important.

So there you have it. If you have been thinking of picking up ‘Saving Tuma’ , and you have KU- grab it now. Now is the time. Wednesday will be too late.  It’s bad to be late. Bad.

Check it out here. If you want 😉  ——-> Saving Tuma- Kindle Unlimited

What’s new in middle grade fiction?

Truth is, I don’t know.

I’ve been supo-busy.  (I also like to make up my own phrases- if you don’t know me, I thought I would offer that disclaimer.)

‘Saving Tuma’ has been out for ten months- and the sequel is JUST now getting ready for publishing. I’m behind schedule. But that’s okay, because it was my schedule.

I enjoyed writing the characters through this book so much, I am anxiously ready to begin book 3, with the hopes that it will only take a few months. Or, at least less than ten.

Book 2 brings a little more excitement & danger to the trio as Cara disappears and Wendy and Daniel embark on a adventure to find her. Don’t worry- the Tumans play a central role, and favorite characters like Koda, Fanny and Zuzu return.

Enough about that. For now.  😉

I want to hear from you.

  1. Are there are GREAT middle grade fiction books that you just LOVE?  I’m a fan of characterization. I want awesome characters.

      2.  I’m growing my reader team.  If you are interested in being a beta reader or if you are a blogger interested in a copy of either book, email me.

So many words…so little time

My favorite new (and completely made-up) term for 2017:  GOALSMASHING.  Fyi…if you see that term out in cyberland, I am claiming it. I made it up. It is mine.  I will allow you all to use it (because it is pretty awesome), but…well, you know. It’s mine.

If you follow me on Twitter  (@mollymcgee99), you are possibly well aware of my new phrase.  Uh, sorry about that.

I use it in all aspects of my life, not just writing.  I am training for some races.  GOALSMASHING.  I have things to accomplish in my personal life. GOALSMASHING.

Must. Write. Everyday

Must. Run. 4x a week.

Must. Travel. Often.

Free free to steal  (<———–bad word) , I mean, borrow the phrase. Hashtag your little hearts out. I want to see it. HMU on Twitter so I can see. 🙂

Goal: An observable and measurable end result having one or more objectives to be achieved within a more or less fixed time frame

So, my hope for you’all is that you not just strive & reach your goals this year, but you achieve complete & total GOALSMASHING.
